WHAT’S MY SHOE SIZE?

When it comes to picking shoes that will keep your feet healthy, size really does matter! Wearing shoes that don’t fit you correctly can put you at risk of developing foot deformities, blisters, corns and calluses. It is also important to keep in mind that your shoe size is dependent on both the length and width of your feet, and while a shoe might fit you snugly lengthwise – if it’s too narrow you’re in for a world of pain down the road. SHOE SIZE MEASUREMENT STEPS

Step 1 Step 2
step 1 Place a piece of paper on the floor against a wall (use an A3 sheet if you have big feet). step 2 Stand on the piece of paper with your heel gently touching the wall and make a mark where your longest toe comes to on the sheet.
Step 3 Step 4
step 3 Measure the distance in millimetres from the edge of the paper to your mark and write this measurement down. step 4 With your piece of paper still on the floor against the wall, stand on it again but with your foot turned 90 degrees so that the outside of your foot is against the wall.
Step 5 Step 6
step 5 Make a mark next to the widest point of your foot, usually near the ball. step 6 Measure the distance in millimetres from the edge of the paper to your mark and write this measurement down. Repeat these steps with your other foot.
